Pause along the greenbelt

This painting was painted plein air on a very busy and warm Saturday at Esther Simplot Park in Boise. Lots of bicycles, skateboards, paddle boards, strollers and even a couple of hover-craft looking devices. Everyone moving, trying to get their activity in prior to heat of day. No shortage of color or subject matter, all of it literally in motion. Kind of ironic that I painted a group paused on their bikes to re-group but they quickly pushed off to join the masses.
