Watercolor, casein and acrylic were used to paint this winter scene that I experienced while riding a snow mobile through Yellowstone. I was inspired the the ribbons of winter colors moving across the mountains as the sun changed positions. The bison moved slowly across the frozen landscape searching for food and warmth near the geysers.
